Frequently Asked Questions


Q. The application isn't launching or is quitting to the home screen.
A: This can be caused by memory issues on the phone or a corrupt installation. Try these steps to resolve (for any application):

1. Turn your device off and turn it on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of the device for a few seconds until a red slider appears, and then slide the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

2. If that doesn't work, reset the device. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. The device will reset. This may take a couple of minutes.

3. Try reinstalling the application - in iTunes, with your device attached via sync cable/dock, select the device in the left panel, click the Applications tab and choose Selected applications. Check all applications that you want on your phone, but exclude the application that is causing trouble. Sync the phone (click the Sync button at bottom right), then check the application in the list on the Applications tab and sync again. Note that application data may be lost when doing this.
